The company's history
Golden Lady Company was founded in 1966 in Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN), by the entrepreneurial genius of Nerino Grassi and his wife Erminia. Their dream and ambition was to make the best women's tights.

Constitution of the company.
The brothers Arnaldo, Roberto and Nerino Grassi found Golden Lady, gradually replacing the family milling business with hosiery with production facilities for hosiery.
Golden Lady opens its commercial correspondence in Dusseldorf and starts expanding abroad. There are already 400 machines at work.
In the early 70s, Repose, the first competitively priced pantyhose made of elastane to relax the legs at a competitive price.
1986
The branding of the Golden Lady group starts with strong advertising investments.
Showgirl Lorella Cuccarini is the first testimonial.
The SiSi brand is acquired
(founded in 1818 in Valdobbiadene as the Pietro Piva silk factory, later the Piva Sisi hosiery factory).
Adrion in Basciano, Abruzzo, becomes part of the Golden Lady group.
The group focuses on the medium-high segment of the industry with the acquisition of the Italian company Omsa, founded in 1942.
1994 -1998
The Golden Lady arrives on TV in the role of the "Big Friend": she is in fact a "golden woman" in all respects, who, with a touch of magic, solves small daily problems, establishing herself not only as a beauty ally but also as a reference figure in women's lives.
The production chain is expanded with the acquisition of the spinning plant in Castelnuovo di Asola.
Establishment of "Va Ly" d.o.o., a company under Serbian law, entirely owned by Golden Lady Company.
Filodoro Calze SPA is acquired (founded in 1982 in Casalmoro, sold to the US group Sara Lee in 1993), owner of the Filodoro brand, with a strong commercial presence in Spain, and Philippe Matignon, a high-end brand.
The first 10,000 square metre factory is completed in Valjevo, Belgrade.
The second production plant is opened in Serbia, in Loznica.
2014
Research, innovation and passion lead to the birth of what we can now define as a New Generation of tights with unique characteristics: THE SEAMLESS TIGHTS.
For the launch of the new SEAMLESS line, Golden Lady chooses an exceptional testimonial: the international popstar Miley Cyrus.
The line of seamless tights "My Secret" and "My Beauty" is elected product of the year in the large-scale retail trade.
Golden Lady Company develops in cooperation with the Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano and with the US company INVISTA, a new revolutionary hydrophilic molecule, patented as Nerino G. fibre.
2018 saw the birth of GL-AIR, the new chemical molecule, based on polyester, which has obtained the prestigious certification of Hohenstein Institute concerning antibacterial activity.
2020
Golden Lady develops Infynil, a new eco-sustainable yarn made from recycled raw materials with Global Recycled Standard certification. From this yarn was launched ECOLINE, the first green and completely sustainable line of Golden Lady seamless tights.
